The Energy Performance Diagnosis (DPE)

Since July 1, 2007, the Energy Performance Diagnosis must be established when renting accommodation (with exceptions: see the decree ).
The DPE must be annexed to the rental lease, it must be made upon the announcement of the rental of his property. Note that it is not necessary to do it again in the event of a change of lease.
Its period of validity is 10 years , except, in the case of insulation work, energy improvement or if the DPE already made contains errors, in which case, it must be redone.
